Its rearrangement is due to Napoleon who wanted to give back to the Romans an important piece of their city culture, still today it remains among the most experienced and most loved corners.

Over time it was not only a place dedicated to sacred worship, in fact some imposing villas were built there. Considered for centuries the most aristocratic hill in Rome, the Aventine is like an island in the city context, surrounded by the green of the gardens, the silence of the cloisters and the beauty of churches and convents.
